BREAKING: Veteran Pop Musician, Chris, Is Dead
Chris Mba, a veteran pop musician, has died.
Michael Odiong, General Manager of Premier Music, confirmed his death, saying the musician known for his signature Jerry curl hair had been down for a while with heart-related disease.
He stated that he died on Wednesday around 6pm at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
He was popular in the 80s with hit songs like: ‘Baby don’t cry’; ‘Funky situation’; ‘We need each other’; ‘Love everlasting’ among many others.
He was signed to Premier Music.
