Ganduje Reacts To Death Of Former House Of Reps Speaker Na’Abba

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has conveyed his condolences to the family of the late former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba.

The 65-year-old politician passed away in Abuja on Wednesday morning after battling an undisclosed ailment for an extended period.

Ganduje, in a tribute, described Na’Abba as a seasoned politician and legislator who had the best interests of the country at heart.

The APC Chairman also acknowledged Na’Abba’s pivotal role in establishing the independence of the legislative arm of government during his tenure as Speaker.

Continuing, Ganduje extended his prayers, hoping that Allah would grant Na’Abba Aljana Firdaus and provide his family, the people of Kano State, and all Nigerians the strength to cope with his loss.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the former Speaker’s funeral will take place in Abuja later on Wednesday, in accordance with Islamic rites.
