Zamfara Governor Pays Workers 13th-Month Salary

Governor Dauda Lawal has disbursed the 13th month salaries for government workers in Zamfara State.

The decision to pay the additional month’s salary was officially communicated by the Head of Service, Ahmed Aliyu Liman, in a circular issued by the Zamfara State Government on Thursday.

In a statement by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, it was highlighted that the payment of the 13th-month salary is a historic initiative in the state. The decision reflects the state government’s dedication to the welfare of its workforce and aims to inspire high performance among employees.

“Today, Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the swift payment of end-of-the-year bonuses for public and civil servants in Zamfara State.

“This kind gesture is meant to boost the workers’ morale and provide them financial support during the holiday season.

“It’s worth noting that this is the first time in Zamfara’s history that the state government is paying workers a 13th-month salary.
