Governor Soludo acknowledged the military’s success in securing areas such as Ukpor, previously dominated by armed groups, emphasizing the government’s commitment to rehabilitating those seeking a return to lawful activities. He praised the armed forces and other security agencies for their collective efforts in the fight against criminal elements within the state.

During the meeting, Soludo characterized the visit as a social interaction, highlighting the softer side of the military and its connection with the civilian population. He called for increased military presence and resources to enhance precision targeting, ensuring the elimination of criminal havens.

Expressing gratitude to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, DSS, NSCDC, and local vigilante groups, Governor Soludo acknowledged the significant progress made in restoring peace and security in Anambra State.

Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Musa, reciprocated the appreciation, acknowledging the improved security situation in Anambra.
