According to Ireporter Online, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has denied reports claiming that he has defected to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), describing the allegation as false and politically motivated.

Ganduje maintained that the reports linking him with the NDC have no political or logical foundation, stressing that he remains a loyal and committed member of the APC. His position was contained in a statement issued by his former Commissioner for Information and Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba.

The former APC chairman also dismissed posters circulating on social media suggesting his defection, noting that they were part of a deliberate misinformation campaign aimed at misleading the public, creating confusion among APC supporters, and fueling unnecessary political speculation.

He reaffirmed that the APC remains the largest political party in Nigeria and continues to enjoy growing support under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that he remains fully committed to advancing the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Ganduje further disclosed that individuals behind the circulation of the alleged defection posters had been identified, warning that legal action would be taken if the materials were not withdrawn and the spread of the claims continued. He urged party members, supporters, and the general public to disregard the reports, insisting that they do not reflect his political stance or intentions.
