Alhaji Sulaimon is facing allegations of willfully damaging properties estimated at N15,000,000.00 (fifteen million naira), which were purportedly designated for an orphanage and facilities for disabled children. These properties are reportedly owned by Mrs. Faith Ojo, a Nigerian businesswoman based in America.

Despite the efforts of the Zone 2 Police to address the alleged criminal activities, the accused and his collaborators reportedly managed to evade arrest, while law enforcement continues their investigations.

One of the alleged co-conspirators, Lateef Lawal, the husband of actress Lizzy Anjorin, purportedly escaped arrest in Ikoyi, Lagos State, on February 5, 2024, while his associate was apprehended and remanded in prison.

Reports indicate that the case has progressed to the Lagos High Court for civil resolution through two separate suits, identified by case numbers: SUIT NO: LD/14340LMW/2023 BETWEEN ALHAJI BOLAJI SULAIMON & 3 ORS VS MRS. FAITH OJO AND SUIT NO: LD/14515LMW/2023 BETWEEN MRS. FAITH OJO VS CHIEF RASHEED OLUKOSI & 7 ORS.

Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, the defendants in the Magistrate Court, along with other individuals purportedly linked to Lizzy Anjorin’s husband, allegedly continue to be involved in land-grabbing activities across Lagos State.

While the bail terms for the suspect accused of property damage are pending fulfillment, his alleged co-conspirator remains in custody at the Ikoyi Custodial Centre.

There are additional allegations suggesting that actress Liz Anjorin has discreetly utilized her status as a celebrity to facilitate the release of the suspect from detention.
