Osun Police Apprehend Bank Manager For N650.8m Fraud

Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Umar Abba, revealed that Adeniyi, residing at Army Barracks Area, Kelebe, Iragbiji road, Osogbo, is accused of engaging in fraudulent activities, including obtaining money under false pretenses.

According to the Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, the suspect conducted fraudulent transactions involving an illegal product called PROOF of FUNDS, affecting thirty-five victims. The suspect has been suspended by First Bank Nigeria Plc pending further investigation.

The police assured the public of their commitment to eliminating criminal elements from Osun State and warned wrongdoers that the state will not provide sanctuary for criminal activities.
