According to a Friday report by Goal, PSG intends to escalate the matter to court. A spokesperson told RMC Sport that PSG is now seeking a court ruling while also exploring an amicable resolution with Mbappé. The club claims that Mbappé voluntarily waived this amount when he rejoined the squad last season.

With Mbappé now at Real Madrid, he is demanding the full sum and has rejected PSG’s mediation attempts. PSG emphasized that the player made clear commitments during his time with the club, expecting him to honor these in light of the benefits he received over his seven-year tenure. PSG also warned that if Mbappé pursues the matter further, they will escalate it legally, seeking compensation for damages incurred.

As this legal battle unfolds, Mbappé remains focused on his debut El Clásico with Real Madrid this weekend.
