A former secretary to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, John Ogah, testified in an Ikeja Special Offences Court, stating that Godwin Emefiele and his wife, Margaret, were not shareholders in the three companies allegedly linked to them…….CONTINUE READING
During cross-examination, Ogah explained that although he was instructed by Emefiele to transfer money to a relative, he kept records for reference but did not provide any documents to the EFCC indicating Emefiele’s or his wife’s involvement as shareholders. He added that most instructions from Emefiele were verbal, with no written communications.
