Addressing personnel during a Christmas luncheon organized by the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai in Maiduguri on Wednesday, Abubakar emphasized that the fight is far from over. He reminded troops that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is not only tasked with safeguarding the airspace but is also pivotal in protecting the nation’s values, society, and future.

He acknowledged the dedication of the air personnel in supporting ground forces and other security agencies, asserting that their relentless efforts have been instrumental in bringing hope for peace back to the region.

Abubakar further highlighted that the ongoing security challenges require advanced and adaptable tools to combat terrorism effectively. He urged the troops to renew their commitment for the year ahead, reinforcing the importance of unity, focus, and determination in facing the challenges ahead.

Air Vice Marshal EOE Ebiowe, Air Officer of the Tactical Air Command, also praised the rapid and impactful air strikes by the Air Component in response to recent terrorist attacks in critical areas, underscoring the unwavering commitment of the NAF to eliminate terrorism in Nigeria.
