Viral Video: Pastor Adeboye Declares Jailed TikToker’s Insults As Divine Prophecy, Orders His Freedom

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called for the immediate release of popular TikToker Ogunsanwo Olumide John, widely known as Sea King.

In a trending video circulating on social media, Pastor Adeboye clarified that he had no involvement in Sea King’s arrest, explaining that some individuals, angered by the TikToker’s remarks, took matters into their own hands.

“I heard someone insulted me thoroughly. What was my offense? I asked my people to fast for 100 days. I didn’t ask him or anyone outside RCCG to fast. But God said this would happen. I was told some people got angry and arrested him. Ha! Release him, he is fulfilling prophecy,” Adeboye stated.

Following Adeboye’s call for Sea King’s release, Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, weighed in via X (formerly Twitter), urging the pastor to ensure legal steps are taken to secure the TikToker’s freedom.

Sowore tweeted: “General Overseer @PastorEAAdeboye should dispatch @rccghq lawyers or Abuja reps to meet with DIG Dasuki Galandanchi of FID, alongside @seaking303’s legal team @InibeheEffiong, @TopeTemokun, and @adeyanjudeji, to expedite Olumide Ogunsanwo’s release if he truly didn’t authorize the arrest.”

Meanwhile, social commentator VDM condemned Sea King for his disrespectful remarks towards Pastor Adeboye, sharing clips of the offensive video and criticizing the TikToker for his lack of decorum.
