APC Fixes ₦10m For National Chairman, ₦1m For State Chairmen (Full List)
According to Ireporter Online, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released the nomination fees for aspirants seeking elective positions ahead of its 2026 congresses and National Convention.
The ruling party confirmed the approved costs for the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for party offices spanning the ward, local government, state, zonal and national levels. The details were outlined in an updated timetable endorsed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.
At the national level, aspirants are required to pay ₦100,000 for the Expression of Interest form across all positions. The Nomination Form for the office of National Chairman has been fixed at ₦10 million, while Deputy National Chairmen for both the North and South, as well as the National Secretary, will each pay ₦7.5 million. Other national offices attract a nomination fee of ₦5 million, while members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) are to pay ₦250,000.
The party also approved concessions for female aspirants, youths and persons living with disabilities, who are expected to pay the full Expression of Interest fee but only 50 per cent of the stipulated nomination fee for any position.
At the zonal level, aspirants will pay ₦100,000 for Expression of Interest forms, while Nomination Forms for zonal offices cost ₦200,000.
For state-level positions, the Expression of Interest fee has been pegged at ₦50,000. Aspirants contesting for State Chairman will pay ₦1 million for nomination forms, while State Vice Chairmen, Secretaries, Treasurers and other officers are to pay ₦500,000 each.
At the local government level, Expression of Interest forms cost ₦10,000 for all positions. Nomination fees stand at ₦100,000 for LGA Chairmen, ₦50,000 for Vice Chairmen, and ₦50,000 for Secretaries, Treasurers and other offices.
Meanwhile, ward-level aspirants are required to pay ₦5,000 for Expression of Interest forms. Nomination fees are ₦20,000 for Ward Chairmen, ₦15,000 for Ward Secretaries and Treasurers, and ₦15,000 for Ward Vice Chairmen and other offices.
The announcement signals the party’s readiness to commence preparations for its internal elections as it builds momentum toward the 2026 political cycle.
