Dollar To Naira Today: Latest Exchange Rate For May 10, 2026

The United States dollar exchanged for ₦1,395 at the parallel market, popularly known as the black market, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, while buyers purchased the greenback at ₦1,385.

Market sources in Lagos disclosed that Bureau De Change operators traded the dollar within this range, although actual rates may differ slightly depending on location, transaction volume, and prevailing demand.

According to market data, the selling rate stood at ₦1,395 per dollar, while the buying rate was pegged at ₦1,385.

At the official foreign exchange market, figures from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) indicated that the dollar traded between a high of ₦1,366 and a low of ₦1,355.

The apex bank has consistently maintained that it does not recognize the parallel market and has advised individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange transactions to patronize authorized financial institutions and commercial banks.

Foreign exchange rates remain subject to fluctuations, and traders note that the price at which individuals buy or sell dollars may vary from the quoted figures depending on market conditions.
