TikTok Creator Pepperbody Shifts Focus From Trends To Lasting Impact
According to Ireporter Online, TikTok content creator Mirabel Ehi Akugbe, popularly known as Pepperbody, has disclosed that she is shifting her creative direction away from chasing viral trends to focusing on producing more meaningful and lasting content.
The 19-year-old made this known in a recent video shared on her TikTok page, where she reflected on her growth and changing priorities as a digital creator. She noted that her sense of self-worth is no longer defined by social media engagement metrics such as views, likes, or follower counts, adding that she now values personal expression over online validation.
Pepperbody stated that she sees no need to attach her identity to digital approval, explaining that she believes she is “good as she is” and will continue to share her content without seeking external validation. Known for her emotionally expressive storytelling, candid livestreams, and unfiltered personality, she has built a loyal audience that connects with her authenticity and vulnerability.
She attributed her rise on the platform to her openness about personal experiences, including moments of emotional transparency that resonated widely with viewers. Recalling past moments, she said her willingness to share openly—even during difficult times—helped her audience relate to her on a deeper level.
The creator, who was raised in the Ikotun area of Lagos State, also reflected on her initial rise to prominence, which came after a TikTok video responding to criticism about her skin tone went viral and introduced her to a wider audience.
Despite her growing influence, Pepperbody maintained that pursuing influence without purpose is unfulfilling, stressing that being an influencer should involve meaningful impact rather than attention alone. She added that her current focus is on building a body of work rooted in authenticity, purpose, and long-term value rather than fleeting online trends.
She concluded that success, for her, is no longer about a single viral moment, but about the lasting impact created through consistent and genuine storytelling.
