According to Ireporter Online, fast-rising Afrobeat artiste Wiza has officially announced plans to release his debut EP titled “Shuttle” on June 15, 2026. The four-track project is expected to introduce listeners to his distinctive sound and creative direction, marking a significant milestone in his music career.

Wiza, whose real name is James Chijioke Ijeoma and is based in Cape Verde, revealed that his journey into professional music was strongly influenced by a life-changing encounter with Afrobeats superstar Davido and his team. He noted that the experience, which took place during Davido’s concert in Cape Verde, became a turning point in his career aspirations.

The artist explained that members of Davido’s team invited him on stage during the event, an act he described as deeply motivating and encouraging. He said the gesture left a lasting impression on him and further strengthened his resolve to pursue music at a higher level.

“The love they showed me was the biggest motivation I’ve ever felt,” Wiza said, adding that the moment reinforced his commitment to building a successful career in the music industry.
