Vice President Kashim Shettima has revealed that President Bola Tinubu does not engage in blame-shifting and remains committed to accepting responsibility for decisions taken under his administration.

According to Ireporter Online, Shettima stated that President Tinubu understands that the ultimate responsibility for actions and outcomes of his government rests with him.

The Vice President noted that one issue capable of provoking the President is criticism directed at the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, stressing that Tinubu believes in owning the decisions made during his own tenure rather than attributing them to past administrations.

Shettima made the remarks on Wednesday in Abuja while speaking at the Agric Development and Investment Summit, where he described Tinubu as a leader willing to implement bold reforms aimed at transforming Nigeria’s economy.

The Vice President urged stakeholders, including international development partners, to continue supporting the government’s efforts to reposition the country and strengthen economic progress.

Shettima emphasized that President Tinubu is not known for avoiding responsibility, insisting that the President is prepared to accept the consequences of every decision taken under his leadership.
