APC Convention: BSO Insist On Pay Back Time, Says No Going Back On Endorsing Saliu Mustapha

There is current unrest amongst the key contenders for the APC national chairmanship seat in respect of the recent endorsement of Mallam Saliu Mustapha by the Buhari Support Organisation BSO.

Credible sources claimed the SGF summoned the leadership of the National Coalition of BSO after the meeting with Mustapha at his campaign headquarters.

It was gathered from reliable sources that the invite was due to separate complaints by other aspirants specifically, 76 years old Abdullahi Adamu, Sen Tanko Al Makura, Sen Sani Musa and Senator George Akume.

Their fears and concerns were why should such a high powered Buhari organisation publicly show its support for Mallam Saliu Mustapha? According to them, it would imply the body language of President Buhari has endorsed the candidacy of the Turaki of Ilorin, Mallam Saliu Mustapha.

However, the executives of BSO have vowed to stand with their choice which is Mallam Saliu Mustapha claiming it is simply payback time for a leader who has always stood by them through thick and thin.

Warning the complainants to desist from using the presidency or name dropping to make them change their minds on their chosen candidate, insisting that from inception in 2015 it was only Saliu Mustapha of all the contenders that have been supportive of the group.

They assured Saliu Mustapha that their members who are delegates are solidly behind his candidacy.

Meanwhile, the aspiration of Abdullahi Adamu seems to have suffered a setback as the former Nassarawa State Governor failed to show up for screening which may lead to his disqualification.
