Help Me Say Sorry Ma” – Lady Interrupts Teni While Dancing With Her Husband In Viral Scene
According to Ireporter Online, an awkward moment at a recent wedding involving Nigerian singer Teniola Akpata, popularly known as Teni, a female guest and her husband has sparked widespread reactions on social media. In a viral video from the event, Teni was seen delivering an energetic performance as she entertained guests, at one point singing the popular Fuji-inspired lyric, “Bobo no go die unless to ba darugbo,” originally popularised by veteran singer Wasiu Ayinde. During the performance, she moved closer to a male guest who was visibly enjoying the moment and recording her, attempting to engage him in a dance. However, the moment took an unexpected turn when a woman, believed to be the man’s wife, quickly stepped in and stopped the interaction. Reacting playfully to the situation, Teni addressed the crowd in a humorous tone, saying, “Help me say I am sorry, ma. The owner of the property has claimed the property,” a remark that further amplified the viral nature of the clip.
In other developments, singer Spyro has shared his perspective on why, according to him, some Nigerian artists end up financially broke despite achieving fame and success. Speaking during a recent performance, he attributed the situation to poor financial management, noting that some entertainers engage in excessive spending on parties, travel, and relationships, particularly with foreign partners, rather than focusing on savings and investments. He added that while enjoying one’s success and being generous is important, reckless spending habits can ultimately undermine long-term financial stability.
