Another Promise Made, Another Promise Kept : Dennis Idahosa Spotted As Construction Of Ogbese long Bridge Commences(Photos)
A brief scan of political headlines from recent election campaigns reveals a lack of trust in Nigerian politics. Surveys consistently show that public trust in Nigerian politicians is eroding.
The perception that politicians are dishonest about their campaign promises is reflected in public attitudes toward election vow fulfilment. Politicians, according to popular belief, cannot be trusted to uphold their commitments.
Why is this? One oft-cited reason is that politicians from all sides of politics don’t keep their promises.
On the other hand, a recent study that used Ovia Federal Constituency as a case study demonstrated that some Nigerian politicians have in fact kept their campaign promises.
Hon Dennis Idahosa, the Lawmaker representing Ovia federal constituency in the National Assembly, is a trailblazer when it comes to honoring electoral pledges.
Today, the lawmaker was spotted while construction on the Ogbese Long Bridge, which connects Edo with Okeluse in Ondo State, began.
The people have endured untold hardships, both economically and socially, as a result of the bridge’s deplorable condition over the years.
When finished, it will increase the economic activity of the local communities, the state, and the entire nation. Additionally, it will act as a different route for motorists who travel between the two States.
Dennis Idahosa has kept Ovia in good hands over the years, and everyone should applaud him for that.
With elections just months away, the majority of political holders have stopped undertaking projects and instead directed such funding to their electoral campaigns.
However, in the instance of Dennis Idahosa, his determination to see projects through to completion has not wavered for a single second since assuming his duty as the representative for Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
View photos from the event, which are guaranteed to provoke wild applause from the local communities that are direct beneficiaries of the commendable project.
