APC Unveils Anambra 2025 Election Committee: Cross Rivers Governor, Shettima, and Others Appointed

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted the committee for the 2025 Anambra State Gubernatorial primary election and appeal process. This was disclosed through the party’s official social media handle on Thursday night The ruling party appointed the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Bassey Otu, as the Chairman of the Primary Election Committee. For the Primary Election Appeal Committee, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi was appointed as Chairman, with Tosin Adeyanji, Edward Ihejirika, Shehu Shettima, and Fafowora Folarin serving as members, and Fafowora also holding the position of Secretary.

The Secretariat for the Primary Election Committee will be led by Sani Galadima and supported by Isah Daniel, Stanley Ugboaja, Joy Akang, Ahmed Musa Gaidam, Marwan Ishaq, Baba Ali Dauda, Umoren Ekpedeme Akpan, Ogadinma Jane Nwosu, Ikpe Jane, Adamu Ahmed Doma, and Isah Abdullahi Gulma.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled the Anambra State governorship election for Saturday, November 8th, 2025. The APC has expressed confidence that the appointed committee will oversee a transparent and credible primary election process.
