Battle For 2023 : The Loyalty Reward and James Faleke’s Drive For Excellence

The adage about loyalty has come to the fore as Nigerians from all walks of life have been celebrating the recent appointment of Hon James Faleke as the secretary to the APC presidential campaign council.

It’s been one congratulatory visit after another in support of the federal lawmaker’s appointment over the last week. Normally, we would have dismissed these visits and congratulatory messages as typical praise singers’ antics.

However, there is a message that needs to be shared and learned from beyond the praise singers, who can be found in all spheres of life regardless of political, religious, social, or family obligations.

Faleke has earned his enviable position simply through his drive for excellence and dedication to his personal COMMITMENT. Take note of the keyword Loyalty to his commitment; Faleke has consistently demonstrated that whatever cause he COMMITS himself to, he will be loyal to the end.

Faleke can be described as Tinubu’s loyal subject, and his appointment can be viewed as a reward for his loyalty. You can argue that, but the reality is that Faleke believes in perfection, dedication, hard work, brilliance, empathy, and magnanimity, all of which he sees in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

And, as Charles Jones stated, loyalty breeds other great qualities. Faleke is the epitome of a hardworking man who has proven that hard work pays off; as a legislator, his performance toward his constituents is an enviable record that other legislators strive to achieve.

He has also distinguished himself as a person that every leader would want to associate with because of his tenacity for details and precision to quality.

Today, a myth surrounds Faleke’s personality; some see him as the next Governor of Kogi State, others as the next Chief of Staff to the President, and still others as the Secretary to the Federal Government.

These thoughts or postulations can only be expressed when an individual has proficiency and credibility, as well as the ability to deliver; otherwise, the narrative would be different.

Faleke’s loyalty to Tinubu stems from the Jagaban’s accomplishment, which, if applied as the country’s leader, would by default right the wrongs and restore greatness to the country.

Tinubu has always been described by James Faleke as a detribalized Nigerian who has worked with every single tribe and has made it clear that tribal diversity is our strength and the foundation of our unity.

Faleke is a Christian from Kogi State who once served as a council chairman in Lagos. He is currently a member of the National Assembly representing  Ikeja Federal Constituency. Tinubu established Lagos as a breeding ground for talent, regardless of origin.

Faleke has already hit the ground running in the administration of the secretariat, providing the necessary oxygen for campaign activities to begin.”We will campaign on our pedigree and achievements; we have a story to tell,” he says.

Hon James Abiodun Faleke is a prime example of how loyalty rewards excellence; today, his constituents are equally loyal to him.
