BREAKING: Oseni Arrested In Lagos (PHOTOS)

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has conducted a significant operation targeting the distribution of illegal drugs in upscale clubs across Lekki and Lagos Island.

As a result of a crucial tip-off about a shipment of Colorado, a potent strain of cannabis from Los Angeles, several key individuals have been apprehended, including a well-known artistes’ manager and a successful businessman.

According to NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, the agency took robust action based on the information received.

One of the suspects arrested during the operation on Sunday, July 23rd, was Oseni Abdulraheem Ayodeji Babatunde, who is a prominent figure in the Lekki entertainment scene.

Babatunde confessed to his involvement in the illegal drug trade for the past three years and revealed that high-profile clubs like Quilox, Silver Fox, DNA, and Hot Box were used as distribution points.

NDLEA operatives intercepted ten parcels of Colorado, totaling 2.50kg in weight, which were concealed in coffee tins and duvets at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) and linked to Babatunde.

A subsequent search at his residence led to the discovery of additional quantities of the illicit substance, along with related equipment.
