In response to one Twitter user’s inquiry about the lower price in Kano compared to Lagos, Musa explained that it was his decision to sell at N580 per litre in Kano.

This decision by Musa comes shortly after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited increased the petrol pump price to N617 per litre. The reduction at his fueling station is seen as a move to provide relief to vehicle owners in Kano.
