PHOTOS Emerge As Shettima Represents Tinubu At UN Food System Summit In Rome

Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, is currently in Rome to represent President Bola Tinubu at the United Nations Food Systems Summit. Shettima made this announcement in a post on his Facebook page on Monday.

This trip to Rome is his first foreign visit since assuming office as vice president and also his first official visit to the city.

The United Nations Food Systems Summit commenced on Monday, July 24, and is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, July 26.

In his Facebook post, Shettima quoted Napoleon Bonaparte, stating, “China is a Sleeping Giant. Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will shake the world.”

He went on to express his belief that President Bola Tinubu is ready to redefine the meaning and concept of modern leadership in Nigeria, the Giant of Africa, which has now awakened from its slumber and is prepared to make a significant impact on the world.

Shettima concluded with a quote from Archimedes, saying, “‘Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it’, and I shall move the world.”
