BREAKING: Sad News Hits Tinubu, APC As Abdullahi Dies Suddenly (DETAILS)

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said it received with shock the sudden death of its party stalwart, Professor Abdullahi Muhammed Shinkafi, in Abuja.

According to a press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, by the State APC publicity secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, his sudden death was devastating.

“The death of a promising Islamic scholar of international repute and academician per excellence such as Professor Shinkafi’s is a monumental loss to Zamfara State, State APC Family, and Nigeria at large,” the statement said.

It noted that the State Working Committee extends its heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, relatives and associates and pray Almighty Allah to reward his soul will Jannatul Firdausi.

The late Shinkafi was once a commissioner of the state Ministry of Religious Affairs and later appointed as the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, during Abdul Aziz Yari’s eight years in office.

He is survived by two wives, who are professors of Islamic studies at the Usman Danfodio University in Sokoto State.
