Drama Unfolds: EFCC Cancels Arrest Order For Mercy Chinwo’s Former Manager Amid Fraud Allegations

accused of involvement in an alleged $345,000 fraud.
Justice Alexander Owoeye initially issued the warrant on January 16, 2025, after an ex parte application from the EFCC. However, during Friday’s proceedings, EFCC counsel Mrs. Bilikisu Buhari informed the court that the charges had already been served on Thankgod’s lawyer, Monday Ubani, SAN. She stated that the warrant was no longer necessary.
Justice Owoeye subsequently approved the withdrawal of the bench warrant.
