Excellence Rewarded: NGF Declares Umo Eno Governor Of The Year
The Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) has honoured Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, with the prestigious Governor of the Year 2025 award, ACCORDING TO IREPORTER ONLINE.
The recognition comes as a testament to his exemplary leadership, transparency, and transformative achievements under the ARISE Agenda.
The accolade was officially presented during the public unveiling of the Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of the ARISE Agenda in Two Years, held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo.
Representing the NGF Director-General, Alhaji Abdullateef Shittu, Professor Abba Gambo commended Governor Eno’s unique governance style, which has positioned Akwa Ibom at the forefront of performance in governance, fiscal prudence, and developmental strides.
“In a State-by-State comparative analysis, Akwa Ibom came out top,” Gambo declared.
