FULL LIST: Teyana Taylor, Clipse Top 2026 BET Awards Winners

American singer and actress Teyana Taylor alongside hip-hop duo Clipse emerged as the biggest winners at the 2026 BET Awards, held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, each securing three awards in a night that celebrated excellence in music, film, and culture.

According to Ireporter Online, the ceremony, hosted by comedian Druski and broadcast live on BET, honoured outstanding achievements across multiple entertainment categories, with Taylor and Clipse dominating the winners’ list.

Taylor enjoyed a remarkable night, clinching Best Actress, Video Director of the Year, and the newly introduced Fashion Vanguard Award. She also received one of the night’s highest honours, the Icon of the Year award, further cementing her influence across entertainment and fashion.

On the music side, Clipse dominated major categories, winning Album of the Year for Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Best Group, and Best Collaboration for their hit track “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Lamar also added to his accolades with two wins, including Best Male Hip Hop Artist, extending his record in the category.

Singer Kehlani also recorded a strong showing, winning Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, ending SZA’s three-year winning streak, and securing Video of the Year for “Folded.” British singer Olivia Dean was named Best New Artist, making history as one of the few artists to win the category at both the Grammys and BET Awards in the same year.

Cardi B returned to the spotlight with her third Best Female Hip Hop Artist win, while Leon Thomas was named Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, beating heavyweights including Chris Brown, Usher, and Bruno Mars. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor for his role in Sinners, which also picked up Best Movie, while A’ja Wilson and Jalen Brunson won Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year respectively.

Other honourees included music legend Ms. Lauryn Hill, who received the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award, veteran executive Sylvia Rhone, who was presented with the Ultimate Icon Award, and teen journalist Jazlyn Guerra, popularly known as Jazzy’s World TV, who won the YoungStars Award.
