JUST IN: Popular Nigerian Skitmaker Dies At 35 (PHOTO)

Tobi Omomoyela Nifemi, a popular Ibadan-based comedian and skitmaker, has died.

Nifemi, also known as “Peteru,” passed away on Wednesday at the age of 35. With his skit, he was known for impersonating people.

Although the cause of his death was unknown at the time of publication, the entertainment industry was already in mourning.

Adams Adebayo, a close friend of the deceased, confirmed his death on social media and expressed his condolences.

He wrote: “I am bereaved to read the news of your demise my brother, You are one of the entertainers that is trying his best to put Ibadan on a global map.

“Your role in the comedy and entertainment industry is recognized but it’s sad to read you have went to rest with your maker.

“I pray that Almighty God be with your family and grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he added on his Instagram page.

In November, the popular comedian, who is said to be the only son of a family of seven, buried his father.
