KWAM 1 Reacts To Viral 12-Year-Old Paternity Claim

Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate or KWAM 1, has publicly addressed allegations that he fathered and abandoned a 12-year-old girl named Azizat, breaking his silence on the controversy for the first time.

According to Ireporter Online, the singer responded during a live performance at the 10th coronation anniversary of the Onikate of Ikate, Oba Lateef Adams, following claims made by a woman, Ogechi Eleana, in a recent interview.

Ogechi had alleged that she worked as the singer’s pedicurist and was involved in a relationship with him for over seven years. She claimed she became pregnant during the relationship and that the Fuji star urged her to terminate the pregnancy, promising to finance the procedure. According to her, she rejected the request and eventually lost contact with him.

Reacting to the allegations, KWAM 1 neither acknowledged knowing Ogechi nor admitted to having a relationship with her. Instead, he dismissed the claims, saying those spreading such stories were free to continue discussing them on social media.

In his remarks, the singer jokingly referenced platforms such as TikTok and Facebook, suggesting that anyone making pregnancy-related allegations should take them there, while urging people not to drag him into the controversy.

The claims have continued to generate public attention after Ogechi further alleged that she sought assistance from the late Kabiru Agbabiaka, who reportedly attempted to reach the musician on her behalf. She also claimed she once introduced the child to KWAM 1’s late mother, alleging that the elderly woman became emotional because of the girl’s resemblance to the singer.

Meanwhile, Azizat, who appeared alongside her mother during the interview, appealed for support, revealing that financial difficulties had forced her to drop out of school. The 12-year-old said she has written songs inspired by her personal experiences and dreams of pursuing a career in music. She also appealed to the Fuji legend for assistance for herself and her mother.
