The Chief Medical Director of UBTH, Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, met with the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Rural Electrification Agency, Abba Abubakar Aliyu, to advance a renewable energy partnership that will strengthen and stabilize electricity supply across the hospital.

The approved intervention will introduce a solar-powered system designed to complement the hospital’s existing electricity sources, ensuring more reliable and uninterrupted power for critical medical services.
