According to Ireporter Online, veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi has stated that infidelity in relationships and marriages is a conscious and deliberate decision, dismissing claims that cheating happens accidentally.

The actress, who shared her thoughts via her Instagram page, rejected the notion that unfaithfulness is a “slip” or momentary mistake, insisting instead that it involves intentional action and awareness.

She argued that individuals do not suddenly lose memory or forget their commitments when they choose to engage in intimacy outside their relationships, stressing that people must be prepared to accept the consequences of their choices.

In her words, she maintained that cheating is a deliberate act and cautioned against what she described as self-deception among those who try to justify infidelity as an error.

Meanwhile, Anunobi also recently addressed past public criticism linked to her role in the 1996 film Glamour Girls 2, noting that audiences wrongly conflated her on-screen character with her real personality, which led to widespread misjudgment and labels that she said did not reflect who she truly is.
