Among the notable appointments is Ahmad Muhammad Speaker, who will serve as Special Adviser on Publicity. Ahmad, who brings vast political experience, previously served as Chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government and as APC State Organizing Secretary.

Additionally, Engr. Ahmad has been designated as Special Adviser on Works to further the state’s infrastructure efforts. Malam Sani Abdullahi Tofa has been appointed as Special Adviser on Special Duties. With a distinguished background as a Khadi in Sharia Courts and a retired Permanent Secretary in the Kano State Civil Service, Malam Sani’s appointment reinforces the administration’s commitment to sound governance.

Other key appointments include Hon. Ibrahim Jibrin Fagge as Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission and Hajia Ladidi Ibrahim Garko as Chairman of the Kano State Civil Service Commission. Both appointees have significant experience as former commissioners.

The Governor will oversee a swearing-in ceremony on January 6, 2025, to officially inaugurate the new Special Advisers and seven recently screened commissioner nominees at the Kano Government House.
