See What Ikpeazu Did For Tinubu That Made APC Commend The South East Governor

The Abia State All Progressive Congress, APC, has praised Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for approving the Umuahia Township Stadium for the APC’s presidential mega rally on Tuesday, January 24.

Chairman of the Presidential Campaign rally, Maj. Gen. Charles Okoro (retd.), who made the commendation at a press conference Friday in Umuahia, said the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would storm the state with other members of his team to “preach the APC gospel”.

He stated that preparations for a smooth rally were in full swing, citing crowd control as a major challenge given the large number of people who had expressed interest in participating.

Earlier, Dr Kingsley Ononogbu, the APC Chairman in Abia, stated that the National Chairman of the party would present the flag to the governorship candidate, Chief Ikechi Emenike, and other party candidates for various elective offices at the rally.

He urged support for all APC candidates, stating that Abia must join the national ruling party in order to receive her fair share from the center.

Ononogbu bemoaned the state of Abia, blaming it on bad governance by the ruling PDP, which he accused of ruining the state over the last 20 years.

He urged Abians to vote for the APC to bring about the desired change, noting that party stakeholders in the state had already articulated the state’s priority needs to Tinubu at the rally in exchange for his commitment.
