BREAKING: CBN Reveals Category Of Customers With Old Naira Notes That Will Be Attended To

The Central Bank of Nigeria’s Kogi State branch has ordered individuals with less than N500,000 to visit their various banks to exchange them for new naira notes.

Checks at bank offices on Hassan Katsina Road, Zone 8 in Lokoja revealed that those with less than 500,000 were advised to visit their banks, according to the Nigerian Tribune.

According to Ahmed Sule, the CBN’s Kogi Branch Controller, the apex bank is only paying attention to customers with more than N500,000.

Sule advised those with less money to go to their banks and swap their money.
