[2023 Elections]: Abaribe Vs Ikpeazu: See Who Won Abia South Senatorial Seat
In the race for the Abia South Senatorial District seat, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe defeated Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
Abaribe, who ran on the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) platform, defeated the governor, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Prof. Georgina Ugwuanyi, the returning officer for the election, declared the lawmaker the winner in Aba on Tuesday.
Abaribe received 49,693 votes, defeating his closest rival and Labour Party candidate Mr Chinedu Onyeizu, who received 43,903 votes, and Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received 28,422 votes.
