Naira Redesign Policy: A Good Policy But With Execution Gaps-Adolphus Aletor
The Naira policy has continued to generate attention especially as there continues to be cash shortage in circulation. More worrisome is the absence of the new notes as the earlier old withdrawn notes continues to flood the economy.
He critically analyzed this issues and more on a breakfast Television “This morning on ITV”, Mr Adolphus Arebanmhen Aletor, a Gubernatorial aspirant in the forthcoming election in 2024, sympathized with citizens who has continued to experience the harsh effect of Naira scarcity, and lay the blame at the feet of the CBN. He explained that the policy had a lot of merit but had serious implementation gaps that made it to fail.
