Former Niger Gov, Babangida Aliyu, Rallies Support For Tinubu
A former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu has felicitated with Muslims across the country on the occasion of this year’s Eid Adha festival with a call on them (Muslims) and other Nigerians to support the government of the day despite the ongoing court case surrounding the elections.
Aliyu, while addressing thousands of people who witnessed the ceremony over the weekend, called on residents of Niger State to support Governor Umar Bago whom he described as a youth and energetic to reposition Niger State to an enviable heights amongst all the 36 others making up the country.
“I felicitate with Muslim Ummah across the world, particularly in Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid Adha, a festival of sacrifice as commanded by Allah (SWA) on all Muslims to carry out. We should thank Allah for seeing this day and we pray to see many of it. We should also learn to be satisfied with what God has done to us for this Sallah.
“As we celebrate this auspicious event, let it be known that a new government has emerged in Nigeria and in Niger State.
“We must support the government at all level, whatever happens, we must always support the governments in our neighbourhoods and in our communities here in Niger State and in Nigeria as a whole, even as we await the tribunal verdict.” The former governor said.

In conclusion, he stated that Nigeria will witness the same kind of turn around that took place when God replaced Ismail with a Ram when Prophet Ibrahim was about to slaughter his Son as commanded by Allah.
Aliyu urged Nigerians to imbibe the same spirit of hope and sacrifice that was on display during the encounter between God and Prophet Ibrahim during the episode that has come to serve as a pillar in the Islamic faith.
This year Hawan Daba which took place in Talba’s Farm attracted fanfare, joy and entertainment to the people of Minna. The celebration attracted visitors from far near to witness the traditions and customs of the people of Minna.
The event also showcase arrays of attractions, including horse riding, camels, bicycles, and captivating cultural displays.
The event served as a testament to the community’s commitment to preserving the cultural identity while embracing the spirit of unity and inclusivity.
