This distinguished figure played a pivotal role in shaping the accounting landscape in Nigeria. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Association of Accountants in Nigeria, which later evolved into the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

As a founding member of ICAN, he also played a key role in the inception of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, now known as the Nigerian Exchange Group.

A seasoned administrator, Williams distinguished himself not only as an exceptional accountant but also as a proficient management consultant and a successful entrepreneur throughout his active professional years.
