Prof. Tahir emphasized that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is keen on integrating technical skills acquisition with regular education to secure the future of young Nigerians. He stated, “This development will secure the future of the youths and enable them to securitize their future by having sustainable incomes and life skills even if they do not further their education.”

Expressing satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing project, the minister urged the contractor to meet the deadline and ensure the delivery of quality services. He highlighted the significance of the vocational training center in providing students with technical skills beyond literacy and numeracy, allowing them to navigate life successfully even without pursuing further education.

Prof. Tahir underscored President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s prioritization of education, emphasizing various programs initiated to revamp the sector. The minister mentioned the development of a roadmap for the entire education sector, which has been tested, discussed, and adopted by the National Council on Education in December.

The ongoing project is situated at General Murtala Muhammad College (GMMC) in Yola, as reported by Ireporteronline.
