The deadly confrontation unfolded in the early hours of Saturday morning in the villages of Satguru and Tyop, leaving a trail of destruction.

According to reports received by Ireporteronline, the exchange of gunfire resulted in the demise of approximately 30 gunmen, with some soldiers sustaining injuries in the intense battle.

The clash occurred between 7:00 am and 7:30 am when a large group of gunmen launched a brazen attack on communities along Gindri road.

Swiftly responding to the emergency, soldiers engaged the assailants, managing to neutralize about 30 of them and arresting over 50, confiscating a cache of guns and ammunition. Regrettably, four soldiers were reported injured during the operation.

As the news of this violent encounter spreads, a sense of fear has gripped the affected communities, with the aftermath of the clash leaving a somber atmosphere.

The spokesperson for Operation Safe Haven, the multi-security task force responsible for maintaining peace in the region, is yet to provide official statements regarding the incident.
