In an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, Wizkid revealed that he does not consider himself to have achieved anything significant in the music industry so far, emphasizing that music is a lifelong passion for him.

He stated, “The journey is about to begin for Wizkid. I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet. For me, music is a forever thing.”

Despite being one of Africa’s most celebrated artists, with a plethora of music awards to his name, Wizkid remains humble about his accomplishments and appears eager to continue pushing the boundaries of his artistry.

Discussing his bond with fellow artist Burna Boy, Wizkid described their relationship as familial. He reminisced about their initial meeting during the creation of Burna Boy’s album “African Giant,” highlighting the synergy between them.

Wizkid emphasized the creative potential when two talented individuals collaborate, expressing his belief that their shared energy inevitably leads to the creation of remarkable music.

In a candid moment captured on video, Wizkid stated, “Burna Boy and I are like family. When you have two great people in the room, you are bound to make amazing music.”
