Osun NSCDC Deploys 1,500 Personnel For Eid-el-Fitr Celebration

The deployment aims to ensure the safety and security of Muslim faithful as they observe the festive occasion. Adaralewa emphasized the importance of vigilance and adherence to the law while celebrating, urging the public to exercise moderation.

The personnel mobilized for the operation include members of various specialized units such as a special female squad, swift action response team, anti-vandalism unit, armed squad, crisis management team, intelligence and surveillance unit, as well as anti-kidnapping and cultism unit. They will conduct both overt and covert operations to safeguard lives and property.

In addition to patrolling the state, the deployed personnel will be stationed at strategic locations such as praying grounds, recreation centers, malls, marketplaces, and critical national assets.
