Fire Ravages Dosunmu Street In Lagos, Resulting In Building Collapses

The fire reportedly originated from an individual refueling a generator set that was still running. It quickly spread after igniting several kegs stored with fuel at the penthouse of a three-building complex, which housed a printing shop with chemical contents.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident. However, during the firefighting efforts, an adult female collapsed and was promptly attended to by paramedics from the LASEMA Response Unit (LRU) Pre-Hospital Care Unit. She was subsequently transported to Marina General Hospital for further medical care.

The incident underscores the importance of fire safety measures and the need for caution when handling flammable materials, especially in densely populated urban areas like Lagos.
