Motorcyclist Fatally Crushed By Truck In Ondo Accident

The victim, a middle-aged motorcyclist whose identity remains unknown, reportedly collided with the truck while allegedly riding recklessly.

The fatal incident occurred at the Oke-Igbala junction in the Odojomu area of the town.

An eyewitness, identified as Lomi, stated that the victim was traveling at a high speed before crashing into the moving truck.

Another resident, who preferred not to be named, recounted, “We don’t know what happened to the boy when he suddenly faced the truck that was coming, and the truck crushed him. After dropping a passenger, I saw the boy when he ran into the truck without anybody chasing him.”

“I sighted the boy heading towards the oncoming truck, but before I could alert him, it was too late. The driver of the truck also noticed him late because he attempted to brake, but it was unresponsive.”

Following the accident, the remains of the deceased were transported to the mortuary. Meanwhile, the truck driver and his assistant fled the scene after the incident.
