This sentiment was echoed by various stakeholders of Ndoki land during a summit convened by the Ndoki Union to strategize a path forward for their community.

Felix Akara, the President General of the Ndoki Union, emphasized that the summit aimed to foster unity, assess developmental priorities, and address pertinent issues within the community. He expressed optimism about the potential for sustainable progress through collaborative efforts among dedicated Ndoki individuals.

Akara also urged politicians from Ndoki land to fulfill their responsibilities and prioritize the development of the region. He called on the people of Ndoki to support politicians committed to advancing the interests of Ndoki and delivering tangible benefits to its residents.

Additionally, stakeholders such as the Anglican Bishop of Ukwa, Rt. Rev Manases Okere, and Reginald Echika Stanley, highlighted the need for both federal and state governments of Abia, Rivers, and Akwa Ibom to leverage the human, tourism, and economic potential of Ndoki nation for its development. They underscored the disparity between the abundant economic potential of Ndoki and the lack of essential services such as functional hospitals, electricity, and commercial banks in the region, despite being minorities in their respective states.
