According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer Emoseh Khamofu, popularly known as Bloody Civilian, has stated that her experience in the music industry has significantly transformed her worldview and altered some of the traditional values she was raised with.

Speaking during a recent episode of the Not Just On podcast, the 26-year-old artiste explained that certain cultural expectations placed on women from Northern Nigeria no longer align with her personal beliefs or current lifestyle.

She noted that while her family continues to raise concerns about marriage, it is not a priority she currently considers, stressing that she does not share the same enthusiasm for it as expected within her upbringing. According to her, repeated discussions around marriage persist within her family, despite her clear stance on the matter.

The singer further revealed that her career as an artiste has played a major role in reshaping how she views both societal norms and the values instilled in her while growing up, adding that her outlook on life has evolved as a result of her professional journey.
