They believe that her reinstatement would contribute significantly to alleviating the economic hardship faced by Nigerians, citing her youthfulness and passion-driven approach to governance.

Expressing their sentiments to Leadership, a group of traders at the Isheri/Olowora market in the Kosofe Local Government Area unanimously urged President Tinubu to bring back the minister, emphasizing the positive impact her support had on their community. Alhaja Modupe Taiwo, the leader of the group, highlighted the pivotal role of social intervention programs in addressing poverty and fostering national development.

Similarly, the Chief Imam of Agbure Central Mosque at Ojodu Abiodun, Lagos State, Salaudeen Olore, underscored the moral obligation to ensure access to basic necessities for all citizens, irrespective of their socioeconomic status. He praised Betta Edu’s contributions and cautioned against the perpetuation of inequality and marginalization in the absence of effective intervention measures.

The collective plea reflects a broader concern for social justice and the need for proactive measures to address the challenges facing vulnerable segments of society.
