It’s Official – Big Brother Naija Announces Season-9 Start Date (View-Details)

Big Brother Naija has officially revealed the start date for its Season 9 edition. The announcement came from the show organizers on their official Instagram page on Friday night.

According to the posted graphics, the 71-day show will kick off on July 28, 2024.

The 2024 Season 9 edition has been tagged as ‘Two Journeys in One House’ by the organizers.

“BBNaija Season 9 is HERE! This is a must-follow Season! Get ready for double the drama, ships, and HUGE competition! Cameras 24/7 for 71 days. Don’t miss the premiere on July 28th at 7 PM WAT,” read the post.

Earlier announcements had hinted at a July timeframe for the show, which is set to introduce a new twist involving partnerships.

This season, potential housemates must audition with a partner, whether a friend, family member, or romantic partner, as per details on the show’s official page.

Auditions for Season 9 began on March 27, 2024, with a requirement for participants to apply in pairs.
