Dollar To Naira Today, June 13, 2026: Latest Exchange Rate Update
The exchange rate between the United States Dollar and the Nigerian Naira in the parallel market, commonly referred to as the black market or Aboki FX, remained a key focus for traders and businesses on Friday, June 12, 2026.
According to market information obtained by Ireporter Online from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators in Lagos, the Dollar traded at a selling rate of ₦1,409 and a buying rate of ₦1,396 in the parallel market.
The update indicates that individuals looking to purchase the US Dollar from black market traders were required to pay ₦1,409 per dollar, while those selling the currency received ₦1,396.
Meanwhile, the official foreign exchange market maintained lower rates, with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) benchmark showing the Dollar trading at a highest rate of ₦1,365 and a lowest rate of ₦1,362.
The apex bank has consistently maintained that it does not recognize transactions carried out in the parallel market and has advised individuals and businesses seeking foreign exchange to conduct their transactions through authorized financial institutions.
Market observers also noted that foreign exchange rates are subject to fluctuations based on demand and supply dynamics, meaning the actual buying and selling prices may vary across locations and dealers.
